Mix Medium

Trying to be a trend setter is a rather tricky business.
.
It's a road that can easily go wrong in many different ways.
.
You can easily be misunderstood or ignored.
.
You can waste your time on trying to communicate your concepts in the style that "you" have found appropriate and be very unsuccessful at it, simply because of packaging.
.
...or you can be forced into becoming a more clear presenter of something and try to sell an easier on mind and eyes product. (Read Product as Art, Concept, Aesthetic, thought process etc.)
.
I probably have lost you already...and it's not your fault...it's mine...as usual.
.
About the above images:
.
They are part of a large mix medium series that it's on going .... experimentation with oil on canvas, 3d objects, drawings, textures, forms and other vehicles (that have been introduced to this series already), and it's moving towards more abstract concepts as my mood shifts.
.
I hope it all make sense on some level.
.
.
.
Cheers

Four hours with Catriona, a photo study

From photo study exhibited on Michelle7.com :
" A bright, second-generation art model, Catriona inspired one of my longest photo sessions during last couple of years .... a free spirited young lady who was a joy to photograph and spend time with. The images from this four-hour session vary in style and aesthetics, and even in themes and moods ... just like the moments themselves which filled those hours. "

Popular Photography Mag: 20+ Simple photography tips

From Popular Photography Magazine :

....

"11) Mr. Softee. If your portrait subject needs softening, but you don't have a soft-focus filter, the pro who goes by the name Wolf189 (http://www.wolf189.com/) suggests trying a slower shutter speed. Shooting with a continuous light source at 1/15 or 1/8 sec (on a tripod!) will usually soften wrinkles and other complexion problems just from the movement of your subject breathing. "
